NetBet has veteran status among betting sites, having arrived on the scene more than 20 years ago. NetBet Review 2025 | Expert NetBetAnalysis
I went hands-on with NetBet in an attempt to understand what has given this bookmaker such longevity.NetBet Review 2025 | Expert NetBetAnalysis
One of the first things I noticed when landing on the site was the user-friendly, modern layout and design.
This is evident in the menu layouts, which I found to be clear and easily navigable/
NetBet also excels with its dedicated mobile app, which has made a significant mark on the mobile betting landscape, and its new customer offers.
As a fan of bet builders, I was pleased to find that NetBet offers a builder-based welcome bonus, which grants new customers £20 worth of free bets.
Newcomers to NetBet can currently claim £20 in free bets (credited as two separate £10 free bets for bet builders) in return for depositing and staking just £10.
The qualifying bet must be a bet builder with at least three selections and a minimum combined odds of 3/1 (4.00). It needs to be placed within seven days of registering and opening the account, which is a fair timeframe.
As a fan of bet builders in general, I found NetBet’s welcome bonus appealing. It’s also an easy one to claim, with no terms that are likely to trip bettors up.
The free bets are credited within 24 hours of placing the qualifying bet, but are only available to use on bet builders. The value of the free bets themselves are not returned in the winnings, but this is to be expected with nearly all welcome offers.
NetBet doesn’t skimp when it comes to promos for those punters who have already claimed the NetBet sign-up offer.. I found NetBet’s ongoing promotions to be more generous than those of many other sites.
Football bettors are known to enjoy an accumulator and NetBet is offering acca boosts that can enhance winnings by up to 50%.
While some accumulator betting sites require punters to place bets with many legs, NetBet boosts the winnings of accas with just three legs.
The more selections you make, the bigger the boost, going all the way up to a 50% boost for 14 selections.
Another promo aimed at footie fans is the free £5,000 Correct Score Predictor. This one challenges you to correctly guess the outcomes of a selection of four matches.
If you get all four right, you can win up to £5k in cash with no strings attached. There are also £5 and £20 free bets awarded to those who guess two or three scores correctly.
It costs nothing to get involved with the £5,000 Correct Score Predictor. You just need to have placed a real money bet any time since 2022.
Yet another bonus for football bettors is an early payout whenever the team you've backed takes a two-goal lead. The bet will be considered a winner, regardless of the final score, similar to the equivalent offers at other online bookies like bet365 and BoyleSports.
NetBet ranks pretty highly when stacked up against the best football betting sites, but leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to other sports.
NetBet does offer the Wheel of Sportune mini game, which can be played for free once per day.
The only qualifier is that you’ll need to have placed a real money bet of £5 or more in the preceding four days.
Punters can spin the wheel for a shot at winning a free bet worth between £1 and £20, and you can come back to play every day.
These free bets come with very few restrictions, and can be placed on any sport or market you choose.

When landing on NetBet’s sportsbook for the first time, it instantly became clear to me that live betting is made a priority here.
There are three tabs: ‘In-Play’, ‘Highlights’ and ‘Upcoming’. Within the In-Play tab, live sporting events are listed alongside their current odds, which change in real time and are marked with helpful green and red indicators.
An additional in-play feature is the notifications window. The window pops up at the bottom of the screen with constant updates about ongoing events and itheir latest betting markets.
I’ve explored my share of live betting sites and I think this notifications window is something that a lot of other bookies could learn from.
If NetBet has an area of weakness, I’d say it’s the lack of live streaming. Betting sites with live streaming are far more attractive for live betting - and hopefully they’ll add a live streaming function at some point in the future.
NetBet is a cash out betting site, allowing punters to cash in both single and accumulator bets, meaning that you can lock in a profit if you get off to a good start with your bet, or minimise losses if things aren’t going your way.
For anyone who doesn’t know, a bet builder enables punters to create a custom bet consisting of multiple selections from within the same game.
NetBet knows the value of a bet builder. Not only does it offer a robust bet building mechanic, but it even gears a number of its promos towards bet builders.
For example, the current new customer welcome offer grants two £10 free bets to use on bet builders.
There's also the option of pre-made bet builders referred to as ‘Bet Builder Quick Bets’. These combo bets can be viewed under the Highlights tab.
I find the bet builder tool is also really easy to use. Simply toggle the mechanic on or off whilst browsing the markets within any event.
NetBet only lets you add six selections to a bet builder but it's available on nine different sports, which is far more than most other bookmakers offer same-game accas.
It's this variety of sports that makes this one of the best bet builders I've tested.

NetBet has a fully functional mobile browser version of its site available, as well as a dedicated betting app. Giving bettors the choice is always the best solution, and when testing the site I found that both are well-designed.
The clean design of the desktop site scales down to a small screen nicely, so you won’t feel like you're adjusting to a whole new interface each time you switch between platforms.
The app functions even better than the mobile browser version in my experience, as it loads quicker and rarely ever crashes.
Like the best betting apps, NetBet’s app is very reliable and allows you to log in and place bets quickly and easily.

I found it easy to get in touch with the NetBet team when I contacted them on multiple occasions. I couldn’t find a phone number for UK customers to use, but in this day and age that’s hardly a negative point.
The live chat is available between 09:00 and 23:00 and staff are generally quick to respond. My queries generally got a response from a customer support agent within 20 minutes. The agents are generally helpful and polite in my experience.
However, I think that NetBet is probably a big enough site to justify 24/7 customer support, which many other sites do offer, so there’s a bit of room for improvement here.
There’s an email form on the ‘Contact Us’ page which can be used to ask questions or log issues outside of chat hours, or for less urgent matters. But generally I'd recommend opting for the live chat function if you want a quick response.
The NetBet responsible gambling page lays out the company’s safety policies and presents lots of helpful information for those who need it.
The information here explains some of the main dangers associated with problem gambling, and provides helpful tips for avoiding these pitfalls.
When testing a site, I always want to see a range of responsible gambling tools to help with safe betting.
At NetBet, the tools at my disposal included deposit limits, loss limits, bet limits, reality checks, session timers, time-outs, self-exclusion schemes and affordability calculators.
There are also some links and contact details for support organisations like GAMSTOP, GamCare, and GambleAware.
All in all, NetBet does a really good job on the responsible gambling front.

NetBet's promotions are appealing and aren't limited to new customers, while free-to-play games, such as the £5k score prediction game, are a big plus.
There’s no live streaming, which is a definite negative. However, the range of live betting markets and the in-play betting service overall is quite impressive.
NetBet takes a healthy approach to promoting responsible gambling, offering punters the tools, tips and directions they need to stay safe.
All in all, I'd recommend NetBet for sports betting in the UK, even if one or two bells and whistles like streaming could improve the site further.
